Khalil O. Saddiq FounderOriginally from Camilla, GA, the youngest and only boy of four siblings. Khalil is a community Activist and Organizer, Certified Trauma informed trainer and facilitator, Racial Equity Consultant, Life Coach, Housing Discrimination Auditor, Member of the City of Chelsea Planning Board, and sits on several non-profit board of directors and Committees. Khalil’s epiphany story in becoming a racial equity consultant is directly related to the year 2020, COVID-19 and the murder of George Floyd. At the beginning of 2020 he was holding online group support space for black leaders to help navigate the uncertain times with Covid-19 and then the Murder of George Floyd happened. This was Khalil’s epiphany and a call to action in becoming a racial equity consultant was sparked. As a person layered with multiple disciplinary skills, marine corp veteran, community activist, entrepreneur, trauma informed support group facilitator, and life coach, Khalil suddenly saw the alignment of my life experiences, education, training, values, and vision. During this time the DEI and racial equity became an emerging industry, mainstream media and popular culture became flooded with books, authors and consultants on the topic of anti-racism, white supremacy, the call out culture, reparations and the like and he is all here for it! Khalil is all in with 901 Consulting, our mission is to raise the standards on employer expectations and workplace culture from federal level to local level and be leading authority on D&I industry best practices, trends, employee rights, identity politics, having a certified trauma informed workplace, and having strong strategic HR business partnerships. We are aware as racial equity consultants that everything we do as a Black people is considered political and that is about power and taking a stance. So as clients know that the work you do with us will also be considered political and taking a stance.
